Meet Bill Covington

Bill Is Nashville’s most experienced wedding officiant. He has performed thousands of wedding ceremonies for couples from all over the world. Bill’s wedding ceremonies have been featured in the Tennessean and the Nashville Banner. He has officiated weddings on NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX network television affiliates. Having performed thousands of wedding ceremonies in virtually every type of setting, Bill Covington is undeniably Music City’s most prolific wedding officiant.

The Metro Nashville Council recently honored Bill for 32 years of elected public service. The resolution referred to Bill being known as 'the kid who beat the machine' when he became the youngest person ever elected to the Metro Nashville Council. It spoke to his four terms in the State House of Representatives where he was voted "Legislator of the Year" and selected as one of the "Outstanding Young Men in America." The award also referenced Bill's time with the U.S. State Department, his work with the Soviet Union and his introduction to the British House of Commons in London. It concluded with mention of his five consecutive terms without opposition as Davidson County (Nashville) Clerk and his mayoral nomination for the John F. Kennedy Innovations in Government Award. He most recently served as Foreperson of the Davidson County Grand Jury. Bill Covington's stellar accomplishments in public life have made him Nashville's most celebrated wedding officiant.
